nestor :  The attention and the place exceeded my expectations. The place is even better than it looks in the photos.

LUANA:  I'm in love with Sound Of The Sea! It's such an amazing place. It's a real gem . T he pictures are great but in reality this place is much more beautiful and serene. We were so happy when we got there. Our private patio is really private, the apartment is big and everything is very bohemian and thoughtful. The pool is a great size there's a beautiful bar and everything is just dreamy. There's a beautiful yoga area, unfortunately the yoga teacher hasn't arrived yet but once she's there it will be so great to do yoga there. Paola, the owner, is fantastic! And her staff very helpful and friendly. Close to everything. A beautiful 20-30minute bike ride away from the white sandy beaches. And a 15 minute walk into downtown Tulum. We will stay here again on our next trip to Tulum .

A stunning little oasis off the Main Street in Tulum. Situated in a quiet neighbourhood, the place is a short walk to the walk street where one can catch a taxi for relatively cheap (100Peso) to the ruins or to the beach. Actual accommodation was new, clean and had everything you need for a relaxing time. Incredible pool, hammocks and gardens immaculately maintained. Hosts were always available and very helpful.

Matt  :  Beautiful spot about a 15-20 minute walk from Tulum downtown. If you are looking for a peaceful place to relax this is a great one. The garden/pool area is very well kept, clean rooms on the simple side and ours was a bit dark. No issue though as we were mostly in the garden or out exploring. Great service with friendly staff. Would love to stay again.

“ We had a lovely 4 day weekend in Tulum in Sound of the sea. The grounds are more beautiful and peaceful than expected, and the hosts and staff are really wonderful, going the extra mile to make sure we were comfortable and felt at home. This little boutique hotel has the feeling of family, so if you're looking for something different than a big resort with lots of people this is your place. They rent bikes from the hotel and make for a nice flat 25 min bike ride to the beach, and convenient ride into town. ....... ”

Augustine:  Excellent place to stay more than one day to enjoy. Bright, cozy, and equipped with everything one needs and above all spacious. A place to recommend and return !!!! A very happy and pleasant stay!

Sotera:  This place is such a cute and unique space! Check-in was a breeze and the hospitality shown by the owner and the staff really made this place quite special. The decor of the outside community space is so beautiful and tranquil. Very quiet and peaceful and I love that they had a bar right outside our room, beer, soda and snacks. The location is perfect, just a few blocks from the main strip, an easy walk. There is also parking available for those that are renting cars, and there is ample parking on the street. We loved our stay and hope to be back again.
